Its 4 1/8-inch drop-point blade is forged from 5/32-inch 1095 high carbon steel and finished with a rugged stonewashed surface that helps disguise everyday use. Measuring 8 3/4 inches overall with a broad 1 1/2-inch blade, the Camper delivers excellent chopping power while remaining compact enough for comfortable belt carry. A Handle with a Florida Story ⭐
The unique handle combines stabilized Florida Pecan heartwood with a contrasting Florida Pecan transition wood bolster, both harvested from the same tree. This old local pecan tree had to be removed for safety reasons. Instead of letting the wood go to waste, we traded a finished knife for several large sections of the tree.Greg carefully milled, dried, stabilized, and handcrafted the wood into a handle that preserves a small piece of its Florida history. Red, white, and blue G10 spacers and three star mosaic pins complete the patriotic design. As a result, the Pecan Camper boasts a bold, patriotic aesthetic that stands out. For safe carry, the knife includes a custom-made, hand-cut, and dyed leather strap sheath.
