Measuring 11 1/4 inches overall and weighing 11.8 ounces, it features a 6 3/8-inch blade crafted from 3/16-inch USA-made 1095 high-carbon steel.  The stonewashed finish gives the blade a rugged, professional appearance while helping disguise minor scratches and everyday wear.

Greg put this design to the test, demonstrating its cutting performance before and after chopping down a 2–2 1/2-inch tree. He cut paper, sliced through a water bottle, chopped down the tree, then sliced the water bottle and cut paper again—all without touching up the blade. The test demonstrates the knife’s impressive cutting performance and edge retention.

The handle is crafted from stabilized Florida Spalted Pecan, showcasing the wood’s distinctive grain and natural patterns. Three 3/16-inch mosaic pins secure the handle scales, adding a decorative touch to the knife’s sturdy construction. As part of our Florida Wood Series, this knife features Greg’s maker’s mark on one side of the blade and an etched outline of Florida on the other.

A custom Kydex sheath with a multidirectional clip is included for convenient carry and secure storage.
