As part of our Florida Wood Series, the handle blends beauty and durability. Florida Pignut Hickory scales provide a secure, moisture-resistant grip, paired with a Florida Live Oak bolster for added strength and visual contrast. Both woods are sourced locally, harvested and stabilized by Greg, giving it an authentic Florida touch. Vibrant red, white, and blue G10 spacers add a subtle patriotic accent, while brass pins ensure long-term strength. Measuring 9 7/8″ overall and weighing 8.0 oz, this knife is well balanced and comfortable for extended use.
The knife comes with a custom hand-cut leather strap sheath, dyed using GreBec Knives’ homemade oak bark recipe from the same Live Oak tree used in the bolster—resulting in a rich, natural finish that ties the entire build together.
