Introducing the GreBec Knives Bur Oak Mini Cleaver — a compact 6 5/8″ fixed blade built for everything from camp cooking to everyday carry. We originally designed this knife as a custom order for a camping enthusiast.  She loved is and this small cleaver proved so versatile it earned a permanent place in our lineup.

The 3⅛” × 2¼” stonewashed blade is made from 5/32″ 1095 high carbon steel. This steel takes and holds a razor edge extremely well, while the stonewashed finish gives it a rugged, battle-worn look that hides scratches and fingerprints beautifully. Whether you’re prepping vegetables at camp, breaking down small game, or handling everyday utility tasks, this mini cleaver offers the perfect balance of control and performance.

Greg handcrafts each knife in Florida and paired with a custom, hand-cut and dyed leather sheath featuring a belt clip for secure and convenient carry.

The handle is made from stabilized Florida Bur Oak, showcasing natural figure and character while providing durability and a comfortable grip. This wood is part of our Florida Wood Series, where Greg personally harvests and prepares select local woods for use in our knives. Brass pins and a lanyard tube complete the build, giving this knife both rugged function and refined detail.
