Questions about our Products?

GreBec Knives offers a variety of custom high carbon steel knives. Materials come from the USA, except for exotic foreign woods. For any questions, contact us—Greg happily answers all inquiries. Designs span hunting, camping, EDC, kitchen, and historical recreations. Greg, our skilled knifemaker, personally designs and hand-crafts or forges each blade. After profiling the knife, Greg heat treats and tempers it for durability. Post-heat treatment, he cleans off forge scale and grinds the final bevels. Once the bevels are complete, Greg electrochemically etches the company logo onto the blade. Knives crafted with Florida woods also feature the Florida logo.

At this stage, the knife awaits its handle. Greg rough shapes the handles, secures them with epoxy, and pins them for a solid bond. After attaching the handles, he finalizes their shape. With the shape set, Greg hand sands the handle to perfection and polishes the wood, revealing a stunning custom knife. Becky inspects each knife, ensuring no scratches or blemishes. If she spots any, Greg refines the blade until it meets her standards. Have questions about the crafting process, blade materials, or our methods? Contact us!

At GreBec Knives & More, Greg crafts each knife with care, using native Florida woods like Red Cedar, Red Maple, and Southern Red Oak, harvested by him, or commercially sourced exotic woods. These knives blend durability and style, ideal for collectors, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts. Whether you’re curious about a custom antiqued finish or a single bevel knife for precision cutting, Greg and Becky are ready to bring your vision to life. Contact us to start your journey with a handcrafted masterpiece!
