The Red Cedar Harpoon Clip Point #418 is a bold, purpose-built knife from GreBec Knives’ Florida Series. It was designed for those who appreciate substantial tools with unmistakable presence. Measuring 10 7/8″ overall, this knife features a wide 6″ harpoon clip point blade that immediately stands out.

Greg crafts the blade from 5/32″ 1095 high-carbon steel. Because of its 1 ¾” width, the blade offers strength and authority for demanding outdoor tasks. It performs well for camp work, light chopping, and situations where a heavier knife feels appropriate. The blade receives a dark stonewashed finish through acid etching and ceramic tumbling. As a result, it has a rugged appearance that pairs well with its size and purpose.

The handle is made from stabilized Florida Red Cedar, harvested and worked by Greg himself. Each piece of wood displays unique grain and rich red tones. For this reason, no two knives look exactly alike. Brass pins secure the handle and provide long-term durability. At the same time, the handle shape offers a comfortable and confident grip that balances the blade’s weight.

Each knife includes a custom, hand-cut and dyed leather sheath with a retention strap for safe carry and storage.
