As soon as I got this totally awesome Little Skinner finished up (It's the first one of this style I have made my darling sheath makin' wife said "OOHHH! I want one". I guess this little skinner will join the lineup of regulars. The reason I came up with this design was to make a little Clip Point skinner that would compete with the best of them and not be a run-of-the-mill skinner. The blade is slightly shorter than my 3 Finger Skinner and the handle is just a touch longer. The blade is only 1 1/4" wide and .10" thick. I put thumb serrations right ahead of the plunge line and behind the slope for the clip point. Becky made a Pouch sheath for this one but she said she could make a Retention Strap Sheath for a bit more. When Becky made the sheath she asked what it would be used for and I told her it was a Little Skinner... I was informed that it would be a "FANTASTIC" Little Garden knife.
